The Fourth Maintenance Office of the Directorate General of Highways, MOTC will conduct upper slop stabilization emergency construction at 182 km (Changchun Shrine Section) on Provincial Highway 8 from April 10, 2023, to May 10, 2023 (2.3 km west of Taroko National Park Headquarters Visitor Center and 15.6 km east of Tianxiang). The traffic control time is from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm (Mon- Fri) during the emergency construction work period. Vehicle passage time is every hour on the hour for 10 minutes (e.g., 08:00-08:10, 09:00 – 09:10, 10:00 – 10:10, etc.). Traffic controls do not apply on weekends and public holidays.
The opening hours for Buluowan Suspension Bridge are from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm every day (the last admission time is 4:00 pm). Please pay attention to the highway traffic control time and adjust your trip itinerary for visiting the Buluowan Suspension Bridge.
