Morning session booking hours: 09:00、10:00、11:00

Afternoon session booking hours: 13:00、14:00、15:00、16:00

※The above sessions are limited to 15-100 persons

Application Method

Apply to our Headquarters from one day to two months in advance of the day required by phone or online. Acceptance of applications will be suspended for weekends and national holidays, the second Monday each month when the center is closed, Chinese New Year, Taroko Marathon, Taroko Music Festival and when other important courses take place.

Points for Attention

• The multimedia presentations has Chinese, English and Japanese versions. To view the presentations during weekend and national holidays, please attend on time according our fixed session schedule, and no bookings accepted.
• Closed 12:00~13:00.
• Please arrive 10 minutes before the booked time to avoid affecting the next presentation. If there is a change or the application is cancelled, please inform us by phone at least three days in advance. If no notification is given, the Headquarters will not accept further bookings from the unit or group for one year.
• After the booking is confirmed, the Headquarters will reply. Please be on time.
• If a typhoon warning is issued, roads are closed, there is a collapse or other unforeseen major incident, the Headquarters has the right to cancel applications already accepted.

Application Eligibility

Groups of 15-80 persons from non-profit organizations or group with own transport.

※ Applications or application as agent from profit-making travel units such as travel agents or tour bus companies not accepted.
※ Priority given to educational or academic groups

Application Method

• Government agency and educational or academic group application should be made by official document or fax (03-8621263); non-profit organization or group application made by phone or Internet.
• Application should be made 14 days to two months before the required date; the Headquarters will dispatch an interpreter depending on availability; acceptance of applications will be suspended for continual national holidays, Chinese New Year, Dragon Boat Festival, Mid-Autumn Festival, Taroko Marathon, Taroko Music Festival and other important course activities.

Points for attention

• For online bookings, date of application, time period, number in group, itinerary, language requirements, transport means, contact person name and telephone number must be filled in. Bookings will not be accepted if incomplete information is provided.
• The booking group needs to prepare its own transport and be responsible for transporting the interpreter from Taroko Visitor Center and back. In principle, interpreter service time is 08:30~16:30 every day.
• To protect the rights of other visitors, a group that is more than 15 minutes late will be regarded as having given up the booking; if change or cancellation of the application is required, please inform us at least three days in advance; if no notification is given, the Headquarters will not accept any more applications from the unit or group for one year.
