Taroko National Park Headquarters is handling the maintenance and repair of the rockfall prevention fencing at the east section of the Xiaozhuilu Trail. The construction date is from March 16, 2023 to March 29, 2023. Xiaozhuilu trail 0 km + 000 ~ 0 km + 450 m is closed, and tourists can still go for the west section of this trail (650 m) through the east ventilation of the Shakadang Tunnel and follow it to connect to the Shakadang Trail.
Taroko National Park Headquarters said that tourists are requested to cooperate with the trail closure control measures. In the case of inclement weather, the above construction periods may be altered or postponed; if so, the Park Headquarters will announce any changes on this website.
