At 17:30 p.m. on October 29, 2024, entry was prohibited due to the announcement of typhoon KONG-REY hitting Taiwan.

Trail open at 00:00 AM on January 3, 2025.
Hikers should be reminded that the probability of landslides is amplified following continuous/heavy rain. Please pay particular attention to your own safety.
Only applications for entry from the Mt. Yangtou Trailhead to Mt. Yangtou and Mt. Bilu in a roundtrip will be accepted.

The Mt. Qingshui Trail has been severely affected by the Hualien earthquake on April 3rd, with approximately 20 landslides of various sizes along the trail. As the reconstruction of the Sandakan Forest Road from Dali to Datong is currently underway, the repair of the trail can only commence after the completion of this project. We apologize for any inconvenience caused.
