Snow season traffic control measures
Notice from the Directorate General of Highways: In order to maintain road safety, Cuifeng (at 18 km highway marker) to Dayuling section (at 41.5 km highway marker) on Provincial Highway 14A (14Jia) will be closed starting tonight at 17:00 today (January 9th, 2024) (only exit, no entry). Actual weather conditions on the ground do not rule out initiating control measures in advance or extending the control area to Provincial Highway 8. A decision will be made at 7:00 am the next morning (10th) depending on the weather and road conditions to open or restrict vehicles with snow chains.
