Real-name Registration System for Buluowan Suspension Bridge to be adopted from November 18
On-site standby admission available if session quota is not met
The reservation method for the Buluowan Suspension Bridge at Buluowan will change to an online real-name reservation system on November 18, where visitors are required to provide their full name and personal information to schedule a visit. On-site same-day standby admission will also be available to the public if session quotas are not met from the online reservation system.
Earlier this year, the Taroko National Park Headquarters announced that the Buluowan Suspension Bridge will be opened on a trial basis from August 12th, 2020 using an online reservation system. During this trial period, there were 4 sessions a day with a maximum of 250 people visiting per session, totaling a daily quota of 1000 people. The Bridge has drawn a warm reception ever since its trial opening, and applicants from the general public have put forward many suggestions. In response to these suggestions, the Taroko National Park Headquarters will adjust the reservation method and increase the efficiency of the quota allocation within its limited capacity. From November 18th, the Bridge will adopt an online real-name reservation system, where visitors are required to provide their full name and personal information to schedule a visit. If the quota for a session has not been met, same-day on-site standby admission will be offered to the public to fill any unreserved places within each session.
Taroko National Park Headquarters reminds visitors that the registration process has two steps: after successfully making a reservation to visit the Buluowan Suspension Bridge, visitors must fill in and return a form within 24 hours, providing the full name and mobile number of every person. On the day of admission, visitors will need to bring their identity documents for on-site inspection before entering the Buluowan Suspension Bridge.
