Adjusted Maintenance Times of Zhuilu Old Road Trail at Taroko National Park – Trail Open from November 16th- November 23, 2020
To improve the safety of the Zhuilu Old Road, the Taroko National Park Headquarters has scheduled the installation of trail safety facilities. For the safety of tourists, Zhuilu Old Road will be closed during this period due to construction along narrow sections of the trail.
Zhuilu Old Road Closure Dates: November 24, 2020 (Tuesday) – November 30, 2020(Monday), seven days in total
Zhuilu Old Road Open Dates:
1. November 16, 2020 – November 23, 2020. The application for the park entry permit starts at 7:00 am November 2, 2020. Please apply online for Park Entry Permits to Zhuilu Old Road.
2. December 1, 2020 (Tuesday) – December 8, 2020 (Tuesday), seven days in total. From December 1 to December 8, 2020, Zhuilu Old Road is accessible to the 3.0 km point. A rest area for construction workers is erected at the 3.1km point; please do not proceed past 3.0km. Double back and return via the same route. The path is narrow along the cliff edge. Please be mindful of your safety.
