Due to the Taroko Gorge Marathon on November 7, 2020, the Provincial Highway 8 is closed from Taorko Bridge to Tianxaing
Due to the Taroko Gorge Marathon on this Saturday (November 7, 2020), the Provincial Highway 8 will be closed from Taorko Bridge (187.5 km) to Tianxaing (167.4 km) (from the south of the Taroko Bridge – Tianxiang section), including the south bound traffic lane on Taroko Bridge and the Provincial Highway 9 old road section from north of the Taroko Bridge to Jinwen Bridge. The traffic controls are in effect from 5 am to 14:00 on November 7, 2020. No cars or pedestrians (except event participants) are allowed to enter except marathon event staff vehicles, the police vehicles, ambulances, or road work construction vehicles when a nature disaster or a traffic accident or an emergency occurs.
