Trail pavement improvement Project at Taroko National Park’s Swallow Grotto Trail closure from September 21th – September 23th , 2020
Suggested tourists to visit the Tunnel of Nine Turn Trail instead
To improve the safety of the Swallow Grotto Trail, the Taroko National Park Headquarters has scheduled the pavement improvement of the trail from September 21-23, 2020. For the safety of tourists, Swallow Grotto (Yanzikou) trail will be closed, visitors are advised to visit the Tunnel of Nine Turns (Jiuqudong) trail instead.
Inclement weather conditions may result in construction being moved or extended, with the goal of the construction to improve recreational safety and quality. In these cases, the Park Headquarters will announce these changes on their official website.
