Road open/ Taroko (Tailuge) Bridge Asphalt Paving Improvement Work

 

The Fourth Maintenance Office of the Directorate General of Highways, MOTC (Hualien Works Section) is responsible for the maintenance of road safety on Provincial Highway 9.

 

The Road Pavement improvement for Taroko (Taluge) Bridge on the Provincial Highway 9 will be as the following:
167km + 810m ~ 170 km + 200m at Taroko (Taluge) Bridge

Road Asphalt Paving Work Dates: August 17, 2020 - September 10, 2020 

Passage: Open only for north bound direction traffic to pass the Taroko Bridge 
S
outh bound traffic: For the south bound traffic bridge closure period, road users are advised to use the Su-hua Highway old road section (turning right from north of Taroko Bridge – Hwy. 9 old road section – Jinwen Bridge – turning left after Jinwen Bridge to connect the Hwy. 8). No construction work during weekends and public holidays. Sorry for the inconvenience.
