Taroko- Swallow Grotto Trail Temporarily Closed for Rockfall Prevention Shelter from December 26th 2019 to January 22th 2020
To improve Park Swallow Grotto trail safety, Taroko National Park Headquarters has scheduled land/rockslide prevention shelters from December 26th 2019 to January 22th 2020 on Yanzikou (Swallow Grotto) trail. Therefore, these trails will be temporarily closed will be implemented. Please take note and abide by these control measures.
Taroko National Park Headquarters suggest that tourists are advised to choose to tour the Tunnel of Nine Turns (Jiuqudong) trail instead. This will ultimately strengthen tourist safety. In the case of inclement weather, the above construction periods may be altered or postponed; if so, the Park Headquarters will announce any changes on this website.
