Due to the Taroko Gorge Marathon on November 2, 2019, the Provincial Highway 8 is closed from Taorko Bridge to Tianxaing
Due to the Taroko Gorge Marathon on this Saturday (Novermber 2, 2019), the Provincial Highway 8 will be closed from the south of Taorko Bridge (km 189.5) to Tianxaing (km 169) (from the south of the Taroko Bridge – Tianxiang section), including the southbound traffic for Taroko Bridge and the Provincial Highway 9 old road section from north of the Taroko Bridge to Jinwen Bridge section. The traffic controls are in effect from 4:00 am to 14:00 on November 2, 2019. No cars and pedestrians are permitted to enter except marathon event vehicles or police vehicles when nature disasters or emergencies occur.
