Provincial Highway 9 traffic control information for August 2019
The Fourth Maintenance Office of the Directorate General of Highways, MOTC (Nan'ao Works Section) is responsible for the maintenance of road safety on Provincial Highway 9. There will be roadwork between 122.1 km – 149.7 km on Provincial Highway 9 from 01 August – 31 August 2019. Specifically:
1. Provincial Highway 9 at 122.1 km - 123.1 km
Details: Renovation of guardrails and drainage.
2. Provincial Highway 9 at 144.7 km - 146.0 km (for drainage construction)
Traffic Control Time: 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
Traffic Control Dates: 01 August 2019 - 31 August 2019
Details: Closure of one lane on a two-lane highway; remaining one lane to alternate traffic directions by on-site personnel, signage, and lights. Traffic control does not apply on weekends and public holidays.
3. Provincial Highway 9 at 149.7 km (Guanyin Section)
Traffic Control Time: 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
Traffic Control Dates: 01 August 2019 - 31 December 2019
Details: Construction of the Ming Tunnel.
Passage Time: to be determined by on-site traffic lights. Closure of one lane on a two-lane highway; remaining one lane to alternate traffic directions by on-site personnel during the traffic control time and by traffic lights outside this time.
