Changchun Shrine temporarily closed between 05 - 18 August 2019
Updated:2019-08-02
HitCount:685
To ensure and strengthen the safety of tourists, Changchun Shrine will be undergoing slope stabilization works between 05 August - 18 August 2019. During this period, the trail to Changchun Shrine will be temporarily closed. The section of trail between the Old Central Cross-Island Highway and the 3 Buddhas (Mituoyan) will still be open. Please abide by the control measures and follow the instructions of on-site personnel.
According to the Taroko National Park Headquarters, the slope stabilization project is necessary to mitigate rockfall and landslides to improve the safety of tourists. The schedule may be extended or modified in case of adverse weather or other natural hazards; if so, separate announcements will be posted on the official website homepage.
