To strengthen tourist safety, the Taroko National Park Headquarters will be conducting Taroko Arch recreational facility repair work for the Taroko East Entrance and Jinwen Bridge Observation Platform. Tourists are advised to take notice of these closures and obey the control measures of the closed trail. The construction work is as follow:
Taroko East Entrance Arch Observation Platform and Jinwen Bridge Wooden Plank Sidewalk
Repairs on the Taroko East Entrance Arch Observation Platform and Jinwen Bridge Wooden Plank will take place from July 17th to August 11th, 2019. The mentioned areas will be temporarily closed between the above dates; the rest of the observation platforms will continue to be open. The work will be separated into different work sites and the repair work will start from 8:00 am to 18:00 pm every day. In the event of inclement weather conditions, the Park HQ may extend or modify the above construction dates; if so, the Park HQ will announce any changes via the official website.
