Traffic control on Provincial Highway 8 at Jiuqudong Tunnel on December 19, 2019 from 10:00am to 12:00pm
Taroko Maintenance Office, The Fourth Maintenance Office of the Directorate General of Highways, MOTC will conduct a response drill on December 18, 2019 from 9:00am to 12:00pm at Jiuqudong Tunnel (at 175.7km on Provincial Highway 8, about 20 minutes from the east entrance of Taroko gorge and 5-6 minutes west of Tianxiang). There will be traffic control for both directions during this time at Jiuqudong Tunnel from 10:00am to 12:00pm on December 19, 2018. During the traffic control, no cars and pedestrians are allowed to pass this section of road. Please plan ahead of your trip and wait patiently if you will pass the area during this time.
