Traffic Information
BikeA parking rack is available for bicycles at the Changchun Shrine observation platform. The Old Highway is narrow and there is a lot of traffic flow as well as buses. Please be mindful of your safety.
Bus1. From Tianxiang: Take buses #310 (TaiwanTrip Ubus), or #302 (Taroko Bus), Hualien Bus #1126, #1133, or #1141 (bound for Xincheng or Hualien train station), and alight at Changchun Shrine (Eternal Spring Shrine).
2. The bus stop is nearby Changchun Shrine Observation Platform (Restrooms are available at the basement 1: Turning left after The shop.)
3. From Hualien or Xincheng railway station: buses bound for Tianxaing (inbound) will not stop by Changchun Shrine. If you are walking from the Park headquarters visitor center, it is about 2.3 km. Be cautious for cars along the road.

DrivingStarting from Taroko National Park Headquarters Visitor Center, passing through Shakadang Tunnel, Xila'an Tunnel and turning left after the Changchun Tunnel. Following the Old Highway 8 you will arrive the trailhead is just after you pass through two bridge after Xianhuan Tunnel. You will see Changguan Temple Gate. Turning right ascending to the suspension bridge. You can park your car in front of Changguan Temple.
ParkingChangchun Shrine- the Old Highway 8 is allowed vehicles from the west traffic heading to the east (eastwards). The car park is available. The buses are only allowed for a temporary stop for passengers getting off the bus. No bus parking is available. Buses are advised to drive further east ahead of the Old Highway 8 and please park at Xiagu Bridge (turnging left after the Xiagu bridge towards the Liwu River riverbed parking lot, about 200 meter from the east entrance to Taroko gorge.)
