    Partially Open. (A) Hikers can access the first 500 m of the trail from Huoran Pavilion to the fence (return via the same route). (B) Visitors should be reminded that the probability of landslides is amplified following continued/heavy rain. Please pay particular attention to your own safety.

    Partially Open. (1) The East trailhead is open from Changguan Temple suspension to Taroko Tower. Please take the same route doubleback. This open section of the trail is rather steep with staircases to the highest point- Bell Tower of this trail. Visitors are advised to consider your own physical condition before setting out. (2) The West trailhead is open from the trailhead to the Eternal Spring Shrine (Changchun Shrine). The rest of the trail section is closed due to the rockslides. Visitors are able to stop by this scenic spot to take photos. Changchun (Eternal) Shrine old road section closed: Land/rockslide prevention tunnel installation will be carried out between Old Changchun Bridge- the old Highway 8 section, and New Changchun Bridge from today to November 30, 2020. Visitors will still be able to enter Changchun (Eternal Spring) Shrine observation platform. Please return via the same route back to Provincial Highway 8. Due to the limit road space of the west of Changchun Tunnel on the Provincial Highway 8, turning right (bound for Taroko and Hualien) are not permitted for the 20-sitter and 40- sitter buses while departing the Changchun (Eternal Spring) Shrine area.
