Tianxiang is a wonderful stop to immerse yourself in Taroko; visitors can choose to stay at Silks Place Taroko Hotel, Tianxiang Youth Activity Center, or the Heliu camping grounds.

Taroko is not only world-famous for its marble gorge, but the Park is also rich in history, culture, and a wide diversity of environments ranging from high mountains to low valleys. The plethora of flora and fauna attracts many hikers. In addition to lectures on Taroko's unique aspects, mountaineering classes are also available. The classes hope to cultivate respect for mountaineering safety and environmental ethics since visitors come in close contact with Taroko's ecosystems.
