太魯閣國家公園為典型的高山型國家公園，轄區中的合歡山區由於交通便利，風景優美，更成為高山旅遊的重要地點，而其豐富的動植物生態及人文資源，是推動高山生態旅遊的最佳示範地區。為因應生態旅遊的推動，本計畫就合歡山區的旅遊資源進行體驗，並對現有之旅遊地點做地理、生態、人文史蹟等特色的評估。依據生態旅遊資源的特色以及旅遊地點的所在地區，合歡山區可以分為三個活動區域。進一步針對活動模式之組件，包括旅遊地點、規範、監測、遊客、交通、餐飲、住宿、解說及行程安排，做分析及規劃建議。綜合結果設計出合歡山區生態旅遊活動行程規劃表，以供各類型之遊客參考，依不同主題安排短、中、長時程的生態旅遊活動。本研究結果亦提供管理單位之參考使用。 Taroko National Park highlights the features of high mountains. Among it, Hohuan Mountain, full of rich natural and cultural resources, is a beautiful and convenient place to enjoy high mountain ecoturism. In order to promote ecotourism in Hohuan Mountain area, this project investigated the touristic resources, and estimated the geological, ecological, and cultural features of the touristic sites. According to the features and location, Hohuan Mountain area could be demarcated three regions. The components of activity models were analyses and suggested, including touristic sites, guidelines, environment monitoring, tourists, traffic, restaurants, hotels, interpretation, and course arrangement. A route-planning table was designed for different types of tourists arranging their own routes and activity models of distinct period and topic. These integrated results are also useful for site-management.
