    Trail open. Zhuilu Old Road: The section from the Zhuilu Suspension Bridge (0 km) to the Cliff Outpost(Duanya Outpost) (3.1 km) is open. Please return via the same route. 6.2km takes about 5 - 6 hours. It depends on your personal physical conditions. (The trail head is located at the east trail head of Swallow Grotto trail. 7:00am-10:00am check in time. No check in after 10:00am.) Please apply for the park entry permit from the park website Entry to Zhuilu Old Road requires a ‘park entry permit’. Additionally, an entrance ticket(NT$200 adult ticket) must be purchased prior to entry. Much of the trail is rugged with potential dangers from rockfalls. If physically unfit, afraid of heights or suffering from heart disease, or pregnant women, please do not attempt the hike. Do not disturb wild animals. The weather in the mountains is very unpredictable. Wind and fog are common in the afternoon. Evaluate your physical conditions before entering and be sure to bring plenty of food and water. Keep your distance and proceed with caution. The path is relatively long and steep in parts. Please be aware of your personal physical condition. 2. There is increased risk of rockfalls or road slippage in the week following typhoon, heavy rains or earthquake activity. Please do not use the trail in these conditions, or proceed with extra caution.
