To improve Park safety, Taroko National Park Headquarters has scheduled slope scrubbing (land/rockslide prevention) from May 26, 2022 – June 8, 2022 on Swallow Grotto (Yanzikou) trail. Therefore, the slope scrubbing (rockfall prevention) section of trail will be closed. Please take note and abide by these control measures. Visitors are also requested to abide by the relevant epidemic prevention policies.

Taroko National Park Headquarters maintains that the above slope scrubbing project is necessary to mitigate landslides and rockfalls, and will ultimately strengthen tourist safety. In the case of inclement weather, the above construction periods may be altered or postponed; if so, the Park Headquarters will announce any changes on this website.
