Taroko National Park Headquarters maintains that the slope scrubbing project is necessary to mitigate landslides and rockfalls, and will ultimately strengthen tourist safety.
Shakadang Trail: slope scrubbing project will be carried out from September 23 (Thu), 2021 to September 29 (Wed), 2021. The Shakadang trail will be closed for maintenance work. Visitors will not be able to enter the trail during 8:00 am to 17:00 pm.
