1. at 171.5(Lushui section) bound for Tianxiang, it is about 16.5km from the east entrance to the traffic control site(25 minutes by car).

passage time: hourly on the hour for 10 minutes(17:00-17:10, 18:00-18:10, 19:00-19:10…)

07:00am - 17:00 passage time: hourly on the hour for 10 minutes
2. 186.4(Taroko Arch, Taroko gorge east entrance gateway)
Control Period: December 14 – December 21, 2017
Traffic control time: 08:30am - 17:30,
passage time: hourly on the half hour for 10 minutes(eg:8:30am-8:40am, 9:30-9:40, 10:30-10:40, etc.)
For the above NO. 2 (Taroko Arch) traffic control, visitors are advised to go pass by Taroko Bridge as a loop then connect to Highway no. 9 Old Road section to get away from the traffic control point. Then via Taroko National Park and drive through Shakadang Tunnel to visit Taroko gorge.
