Taroko National Park Administration will be conducting construction work from March 3 to May 14, 2021 at Shakadang Trail in order to repair damages to the guardrails along the trail. This construction project aims to increase the safety of tourists. During the renewal construction work, visitors are advised to pay attention to their safety.
The Taroko National Park Headquarters Management Office has stated that the guardrail renewal project is necessary for reinforcing tourists’ safety. Please cooperate with the construction personnels’ instructions. In the event of inclement weather conditions, extension or change of the construction period is possible. Taroko National Park Headquarters Management Office will announce any changes via the official website.
