Rockfall prevention construction work will be conducted at the Swallow Grotto Trail
For the safety of visitors, the trail will be temporarily closed from March 4th to March 6th 2019
To reinforce tourist safety, Taroko National Park Administration will be conducting rockfall prevention construction work from March 4th to March 6th 2019 for the Swallow Grotto (Yanzikou) trail. Tourists are advised to take notice of this closure and obey the control measures of the closed trail.
The Taroko National Park Headquarters Management Office has stated that the rockfall prevention construction work is necessary for reinforcing tourists’ safety. Although the administration attempts to minimize the impact of construction work on tourists’ recreational activities and traffic. Please cooperate with the construction personnels’ instructions. In the event of inclement weather conditions, extension or change of the construction period is possible. Taroko National Park Headquarters Management Office will announce any changes via the official website.
